Court Rules Search (Federal and State)
First, many of the Issue Finder materials are based on rule application. This should come as no surprise given the reliance on rules to move cases through the system. Of course, Issue Finder documents will come complete with citing authority and a great perspective on drafting a lead paragraph when citing a rule. So certainly search the Issue Finder as a starting point.
Second, nearly every state and the federal statutes include codified versions of court rules. Even better, these rules may be referenced in substantive statutes describing specific types of action and lead you to additional arguments.
